2013 LFX TUNE (DIFFRENT ECU)
Questions
1st Question: Is it worth tuning a M6, heard with most tunes, 80% of the TUNE is setting the shift points on the AUTO, what kind of HP\TQ gains am I looking at on the M6? 2nd Question: I was told the 2013 LFX has a difffent ECU from the 2012s and MAY or MAY NOT be DYNO/Tuned as of yet Can anyone confrim or deny this

Yes the ECM is different, but I am hearing that tunes may be coming available for it soon.
Autos do benefit more from tunes b/c of the improved shifting, but you still benefit from the gains in power, which on the LFX seem to be worth the cost. You should be around 15HP gain on top and good gains in torque in the low and medium ranges.

The actual 2013 + 2014 LFX ECUs were set with a different Operation System then the 2012 Versions ... but that is not a big Problem ... took us 60 minutes to create flash tool Software and Tuning for our IPF System for the new models ! Here the results with an KN Intake that was not giving any power to the bone stock engine .... all tests were done under same conditions ! Here you see RWP on a Dynojet ! greets ASH@IPF-TUNING |

Yes OP, the 2012 LFX ecu was an E93, while the 2013 (and perhaps the 2014 from the sound of it above?) is an E93A... In the beginning it seemed to have been untunable, but EFI Live recently added support for it, and it sounds like HP Tuners is very close if they haven't already since the last time I checked. Looks like IPF, and maybe(?) Trifecta have no issues. |

If you want a dyno tune, find a reputable dyno tuner that uses efi live and they should be able to get you squared away
