If you live in Miami the closest Shell refinery is over 700 miles away in Saraland, AL and it is a very small refinery. Do you really think you are getting gas made at a Shell refinery? Don't think so. Brokers buy gasoline in bulk that is blended at some point with gas from whatever refinery supplies gas via pipeline to a particular storage and distribution terminal. The gas in your tank may be a blend of gas made in several different refineries. Only difference is the additives added during delivery to stations. The gas you use in Florida most likely came from Mississippi and or Louisiana.
The closest refinery to Miami is in Cuba.

Shell 93 has the most detergents than any other fuel.
