Dealer Lot cars

ok, now that GM is shifting production to produce more V6's, will dealers be getting lot cars (not ordered by a customer)? Since the majority of orders have been v8's, I cant imagine there are that many v6 orders left to be built. If that is the case, we might be seeing prices come down on the V6 (under msrp???) On the flip side, over msrp on the v8's will not be going away anytime soon!!! Anyways, will be good to see Camaros in showrooms since most chevy dealers dont have a showroom car (unless marked up)

Lot cars are still orders put in by dealers.

If nobody is ordering V6 cars.... Dealers probably wont order that many of them either.
Dealers will order what everybody has been wanting already

If you go to the good places you don't need to worry about anything being above MSRP

But there is a large amount of camaros sitting on lots in Buffalo, and I don't really know why. I guess they're stupid for our weather, but you'd think the dealers would stock accordingly.

yes, but V8's are now limited to 50% of orders submitted. So, when an allocation opens for order, and a v8 cant be submitted, I would think orders would be submitted for V6 dealer lot cars.

i would gladly stock a v6 camaro as opposed to no camaro. i don't know a dealer in the world that would turn down allocation if he couldn't have a v8.

i really dont see this car being under MSRP until dealers need to start selling the cars. Right now the cars are selling themselves.
