2012 blower motor removal and reinsertion
I have a 2012 Camaro SS and I want to take out the blower motor as a mouse has gotten into the duct system.
I have the glove boxed removed and it seems like the blower motor is attached with 2 rivets. There are other tabs on the blower motor housing which line up with some holes so it looks like I could just use screws to reinsert the motor. My blower motor is fine and I want to put it back when I'm done looking in there. If anyone has any advice on how to do this it would be appreciated. Thanks! |

There is a diy on how to take it out somewhere here on the forums and if I remember correctly, it has to be cut out with a knife. And yes you are correct on those holes, those are meant to be used to screw the motor back in.
