If it doesn’t have a backup camera, you want to add one. It sucks trying to back the Gen 5 up (visually).

I bought mine from a dealer in 2017 after losing my 2016 camaro to Hurricane Harvey. Its a 2LT with a manual 6 spd. Lots of leather and extremely well equipped. My wife was surprised when we took a 2k mile trip and back to new Mexico a year ago. It was a very smooth riding car. Handles well, and gets really good mileage. I installed new wheels/tires, transferred all my old 2012 suspension part from my old 2012 track car. the only issue it gives me is a P0300 error every so often. I think its a crank sensor. One of these days I'll replace it. It had lots of scratches from the previous owners ability to wash the car themselves and not through a carwash. Its now is a top contender in car shows. I really hardly drive it much anymore.

I sure like mine. Bought it in Dec. 2020 w/28K. Been doing some modding to it. I bought it so I can.
Been working on the "tune". Last edited by DRC69; 05-13-2021 at 10:34 AM. |

While I'm partial to the '14-'15 if I was to add yet another Camaro I'd get a '13 SS 1LE to balance my "collection". I know you stated your preference for an auto but the 1LE is a sweet ride. Also if you plan on doing ANY type of track events avoid sunroof cars due to helmet clearance (or lack there of).

word of caution.. the converts from 2010-2013 have issues with a 5th bow warping... if you are going to get a rag top, just be cautious... maybe the reason that person sold it was they didn't want to spend the $$$ to have it fixed.
