griots garage makes a wax remover. Also you can try a pencil eraser if you rub lightly.

I had a Honda Element and guys all the time made this mistake of accidently getting wax on the panels. The miracle cure was peanut butter. I know, sounds crazy but it worked! Just a little bit on a rag and rub it in and wipe it off. Don't ask plain or with nuts. Ha ha! Just try it and it won't cost you anything. I know you got some Peter Pan in the pantry.

Just use creamy peanut butter. Sounds wacky, but it works fine and you probably have some already in your kitchen.

Any vinyl cleaner like Armorall and a rag will take it off.

had wax dried on grill and shark fin, took an eraser(rubber orange/red) and rubbed it right off. no problem
