you can do a burnout in practically any automatic. you just power brake the heck out of it. Not recommended though of course. Heck, I could peel out in my Mazda B3000 150-hp truck!

your wallet may thank you for not doing burnouts though

Why burn out your rear brakes and heat up your tranny, just floor it and go !

I've only done one burnout in mine. I would rather not wear out these soft tires any faster than necessary.

Mine won't break them loose in a 5-10mph rolling start. Should it?

Yes it should. Well I don't know about 10mph. Big difference between 5 and 10mph

Back on topic, could you have got a bad tank of go juice? Sumpin dont sound right, these cars have way too much power to let P zeros stop them.

Same here, in first rolling at idle it won't, first rolling at 2000rpm it won't.

It just squats and goes. Not that I care to burn off the tires anyways. To the OP, could be bad gas? I've got 1800 miles what do you have?

On the serious side..It does seem odd...Mine broke loose this morning and the TC was on. Granted I have an M6 but still...

While I haven't actually done it yet, I'm pretty sure I could smoke the do da out of them if I reved up to 4K and dumped the clutch...but clutch out accelerator stomps in first from 5 - 10 mph just hook up and go with TC on or off.

don't step on the brakes. Floor it and then slowly apply the brakes.

mine smokes them right up with no problem, sounds like there is a problem if it won't burn even with the brake.
