2011 2ss Vert - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I am new to the site and have a couple of questions. I will be buying a left over 2ss Vert next week. Either Red with RS, Hurst, White Stripes, 20" polished wheels and Matts or White 2ss Vert Orange interior, Orange stripes, Hurst, 20" polished wheels. Discount on both cars are equal $5600, 3100discount - $1500 dealer cash - 1000 private offer coupon and 72 month 0% finance. I think these are good deals, the white doesnt have the RS package so its $940 cheaper. On a vert the headlights are only the real difference with the RS package. I guess I'm asking are the looks of the lights worth the extra 940 and anybody with the orange interior, does it look to wild/busy when you have to live with it>

That's a tough call. I say the white with orange looks better but not having the halos kind of sucks. I have the orange interior and LOVE it. I wouldn't have it any other way.
I say get the white w/orange and put the halos in yourself.

Do a search for one and have it shipped to your dealer. I was looking at going into a 2011 during my buyback and found tons of white, a few red and plenty of black in SS/RS. If your local dealer wont help you out drive to the next one or e-mail Becky at Rogers Chevy. You would be surprised on how many are out there-----

Seems like my local dealers love to add shit to the camaro like polished wheels for an extra $480 when the camaro already has the RS pkg or stripes instead of letting the customer choose which stripes and what color they want. IMO the dealers make fugly choices. I'll probably order mine since I can't find the color combo I want. I personally don't think the RS pkg is worth the extra scratch and kinda prefer the look of the halogens. Better off using that money to upgrade the stereo.

Well I bought the White with Orange stripes/interior car tonight. They wanted to move it and gave me a smoking deal. Car stickered for 42455 I bought it for 34000 + tax. I really wanted the Red car because of the RS package but didn't want to pay 3000 more for it. Should be picking it up on Saturday as long as it's not snowing.
