Question Questions about spray / nitrous

Hello all, i have returned to ask more questions.

I’ve been looking into running spray on my ls3. Over the summer i got my h/c/i done and now i want more power lol

i’m wondering what supporting mods i should be running or doing prior to getting 75/100/150 shot of spray on my motor. stock bottom end with 110k miles on it

upgrading my clutch next summer and doing some aesthetic modifications but running spray seems to be my main focus.

anyways i appreciate yall & let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

Just make sure you have enough fuel when running nitrous. With a stock fuel pump with H/C/I you may want to upgrade to at least a ZL1 pump.

You need a range colder plug for every 75hp and pull 2* of timing for every 50hp. You also need a way to control when it comes in, like with a nitrous controller, but it could be as simple as a manual momentary switch or microswitch on the gas pedal. Controllers have some failsafes ensuring it does not spray below 3000 rpm or when it's not at WOT. I can't imagine the stock fuel pump being good for anything over a 100 shot. Most guys have a dedicated supply because you just can't get a ton of fuel from the Schraeder valve port on the fuel rail.

I actually have a spare NX plate kit as well as a trunk bottle mount from NOS on the shelf if you are interested.

Don't skimp, get a nice system. Fuel will be a problem. A dedicated tank worked for me. A progressive system is nice along with tps wot activation. Clutch will be my next item.
