Gave up my 2SS for this - Did I do good?
2006 Corvette w/ SLP Performance Package ZL465 HP installed by dealer. Car only had 8,100 miles on it and I paid $34,000. Mint.
It was a very hard decision, but I think I did good????? |

I'd have to drive it to say for sure...Not too shabby.

your depreciation on that package will be nill compared to the depreciation I will get on my 2SS/RS in the first 6 months alone. Nice going. I'd have jumped at that in a heartbeat if it did not have a black interior (personal issue I can't get over from arm burns as a teenager). Great job, I don't know how the previous owner could have taken such a financial hit.

I voted that you should have waited however it is a nice car at a nice price. The only reason I would have waited is that the Vette design is not "fresh" and "exciting" anymore..With the Camaro, you would have that feeling at least for a year or more...

She is sexy. The corvette is my all time favorite car. The camaro kicks ass but a corvette is better, its higher class, Yea you can get a camaro with an ls3 and all, but you can't beat the corvette's great legendary curves, performance, and looks. You did good but not by far becuase im loving the new camaro,2010 camaro=best car in class.

Yeah...you did good.
There's no beating around the bush on that one. I love corvettes....and, I personally would have held out for the Camaro (need the 4 seats anyway), but had I not had kids (or they were grown and off to college), I would have seriously contemplated that vette. Tis beautiful. You did very well. Congratulations on your purchase and I hope you enjoy it for many, many years to come!!! |

i voted did good - great deal!
but like Tag, i need 4 seats so personally i wouldn't have done it. If i were in the market for a 2 seater...definately!
