True, and I know these are just renders but in certain angles they look tacked on almost like an afterthought. They don't seem to flow with the design to me.

I do like the Cien.

Not crazy about the rear on the Vette.

Agreed the rear of the vette seems like it was designed for a different car, the front looks mean!

There was some uncertainty about how the C7 Stingray would look before it was realeased, based on renders and it came out beautifully.

Really can't comment on third party renders, and camo-covered test mules when it comes to how the actual production version will look.

I'm looking forward to seeing the final design, and will reserve judgement until then as renders at this point are just speculation.

Looks like the previous version with the Cadillac crest was to keep people guessing.

Supposed insider information. As always, complete speculation and completely false until GM confirms.

I have been saying base 4.2 TT and upper model 5.5 since C8 talks began. That post is one of the most realistic I have seen yet. The CAD drawings for the low-side mounted DOHC TT V8 have been out for almost a year.

Almost all of this has been speculated before. Up until a few years ago the mid engine corvette was included in that list. We are finally getting a mid engine Corvette so who's to say it's not going to be it's own brand as well. Seems plausible. The Camaro not getting the ax recently may also indicate that they have some big plans they don't want to abandon.

I'm ready to finally see this thing.
