I posted this in the sports section but figured it would get more exposure here.

My boy plays inside LB for the AF Academy, he is #45. Game is 0930 mountain time or 1030 central time on CBS. Nationally televised. Give it a watch! should be a good game, it always is!

He's a senior this year and just found out today he got a pilot slot! Pretty hard to come by. He will be a 3rd generation pilot, hopefully 3rd generation fighter pilot! He also throws shot and discus for the Academy

I am also a navy man. The Airforce and the Navy fies jet but their is One thing the navy can do the Airforce can not do.
I be watching the game since you son is playing.

Great close game, but Navy managed to pull off the win! It looked like James had a good game; I heard his number called out several times during the telecast.

I hope your son has a great military career and gets to follow in your footsteps. Thanks to both of you for your service!

Thanks Mike, great win for the Navy!!!! they held on to the ball like they wanted to win....we did not. My son, while all over the announcements, had too many arm tackles. He know better, he was way too hyped up and overran the play on a number of tackles. He did make a bunch though. Bottom line.....a bunch of good Academy kids beat a bunch of good Academy kids!!!! My boy was sore and his mother spent the next 36 hrs babying him

I just visited the AF Academy 2 weeks ago and got caught in a Hail Storm. Lasted about 30 min. Other than that the weather was perfect. Wish I could have caught a game while we were there.

I'll definitely watch for #45 from now on.

he ended up with 9 tackles on the day. Graded out at 85% in film review which led the defense.

Here is a pic of him crushing the QB, it was quite impressive live and i also recorded the game on DVR
