Drove out to the Pavilions Cruise today. Perfect top down weather made it obligatory to take the Camaro. Here are some Camaro photos.

The rest....

Nice Pics! Looks like a great day for a cruise-in.

I had a rough day yesterday. I woke up with lower back pain which I do sometimes, but this was worse. It usually passes after an hour or two or at least becomes quite mild after the morning hours. But it hurt worse yesterday & did not improve even after doing some stretches, taking a hot bath with epsom salt & taking some Naproxen then later some extra strengh timed release asprin & sitting with a heat pad on it. It seems slightly less severe this morning but still hurting quite a bit. I'm not sure what I did to it. I hope it improves. This is no fun.

It was milder here yesterday, around 45 but windy. Today supposed get up to close to 50 but tomorrow back into the bitter cold for a few more days. Have a good Sunday everyone.

Nice pictures Rick. I hope your back feels better soon Janice I have had back pain before and I know it's not fun. I had to work again yesterday for a few hours so I was tired when I got home so I did not do a lot around the house. I will have to go out soon to clean the driveway as we got a few inches of snow yesterday. Not looking forward to it as temps are in the single digits. This has been a cold and snowy winter we are 20" above our normal snowfall so far and my work schedule (I have only been off 2 Saturdays since December) is making me depressed. I don't even want to leave the house if I don't have too these days. I hope it gets warmer soon at least above freezing so maybe it will make me feel better.

They have great new legal medicine just for that in Colorado.

Nice pics! I've been thinking of taking one of the road course driving lessons at Bondurant. Don't want to be a "race car" driver, just want to learn/hone some skills. Anybody out there tried it/recommend it? Thanks

Thanks. Hopefully my back will ease up soon. I hope the weather improves & your job lets up some for you. I have been a bit depressed with the weather & my job too. We need a new moon phase or something.

Then we just have to make it through the short month of February and it will be all over with. Spring is coming soon

Bondurant is certainly one of the "top-shelf" schools - I think you'd be looking at their "High Performance Driving" courses rather than a anything geared more toward acquiring a competition license.

There are also several entities that stage events variously known as "HPDE's" (NASA, Track Daze, Hooked on Driving), "PDX's" (SCCA), etc.

Sometimes a track itself will offer a variety of driving experiences geared to different levels of track experience including "none at all". NJMP features this opportunity, and as I understand it there's going to be a road course at Thompson (NE corner of CT) opening up this summer that might be worth looking into to see if they will as well.

Sorry you are having back pain Janice. I know how you feel. I've had lower back pain for about 8 years now. I can't stand or walk for more than a few minutes before I MUST sit. Beyond that, I've had pain in my neck that gives me headaches for 30 years now. Doctors say the lower back pain is 3 herniated discs, and the neck pain is degenerative disc disease. In both cases they have told me there is nothing that can be done for me. Nothing at all. I found a new doctor about 6 weeks ago. He is an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. He says he's got a few things he can try. We'll see.

I hope yours is just muscle strain and will go away pretty soon.
