Opening night at Castol raceway 2016

Special thanks to Davenport Motorsports for making the trip up from Calgary to Castrol Raceway in Edmonton Alberta to make sure my wife and I got the most out of our ZL1's for opening night. After logging a couple passes on each car Ryan went to work. My car was basically a new build with only 4 passes on the motor after break in last fall, 10.40 being the best just shifting the trans with the paddles(manually). Ended last night with a 10.16@137.74. I couldn't be happier. My wife also ran a new personal best with her Davenport Stage4 ZL1 with a 10.50@133. It's absolutely amazing for 2 cars you could jump into and drive across the country if you wanted to. Car #1091

Since a lot of our clients are now heading to the track to test and try out their new found HP, we find it necessary to help them by providing tech support, mainly this will be in additional data logging and tuning. Things change in the real world and under racing conditions and we know there is more potential in these cars with fine tuning.

So to go faster, sometimes people just throw more money at the car without trying to get the most of there initial combinations, this is where we can help to maximize every ounce of power out of these amazing vehicles.

Yet the object is still to keep a reliable and safe car that you can drive anywhere

Both cars run Hoosier 28/10R17 slicks

Congratulations Lance, thats quick. What you didn't mention was that you backed it up pretty nicely with a couple of other passes, she's not just a one trick pony. The added tech support at the track is invaluable. Look forward to seeing your 9.xx slip.

Thanks a lot Bryan!!!! Lol. It definitely was making power!!!!! It actually ran just over 138mph on one pass. I've got a couple more tricks at my disposal, you WILL see a 9 second slip this year( without nitrous). It was awesome to have Davenport at the track.
Car#1091. (They had the wrong car number on the first slip but it was me. Says 1191. lol )
