Police attraction - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I've read a lot of threads about police pulling people over just to look at the Camaro. I don't know about you guys, but I would be PISSED if that happened.

Do cops not have anything better to do? Is there anyway to report a loser cop who pulls over people for no legal reason?

I am using it to my advantage. They are getting to know me better and they like the car. Will probably be a good thing for me, but I also live in a town of less than 15K population.

I'm sure you could report him somehow for pulling you over without a good reason but don't be surprised if a bunch of his "friends" pull you over in the near future and find a reason each and every time.

Let them have their fun and check out the car. It's a phase and will pass as more and more appear on the road.

I would be flattered maybe I get lucky and down the road if I get pulled for speeding it would be same cop that stopped to look and he might let me go once for free. You never know. I'm in a small town anything is possible.

You should see the traffic in San Antonio now. It's like a cross of Mexico City and India but with more construction. I want to move but I am stuck in this hell hole. It's just one big parking lot of pavement. The old city is gone...

Oh wait.. we where talking about cops?

Btw one of our mods is an officer.

You can avoid that by having a bumper sticker on your car that says: "This car carries no donuts".

somehow i think that may have the OPPOSITE effect though. Don't sweat it, like others on here have said, treat them with respect and courtesy and they me be more lenient when they bust you doing 95 in a 55

Our police chief just got a tricked out Charger Cop Car and has been driving it non-stop since he got it. I mean morning, noon, and night. So the revenue for the city for the next several months will be increased alot.

I admire his new charger with all the lights and what-not and I think he'll admire my new 2SS. He already let the cat outta-the-bag kinda when I asked him what his car's top speed was...........150! I haven't told him yet that mine will be faster..............I'm just hoping that he'll want to race some day.
