After the i manually turn the signal off, the clicking noise stays on for 2 extra clicks before it stops.
Let me know if you find a solution! Im going to check the fuse boxes when i get a chance.

Did you come to any conclusion? I'm having the same problem you are with my 2013 LS. The stock radio is cutting in and out, and also my turn signal is acting funny like you said

Question 2016 Camaro Radio cuts off

Help! I have a 2016 and the radio is cutting off...staying off more than on. My warranty has expired and the dealer wants to charge $100 just for a diagnostic. I see that this is a more common problem than I expected.

Anybody...what should I do?

Thanks

UPDATE: Took it to the dealer to see if they could swap faceplates (Base wo/heated seats), well long story short that didn't happen and wasn't provided any further information... Angered to say the least.

I can find the 2013 Camaro Service Manual but it looks like it does not come with wiring diagrams, can any one confirm?

Does any one have access to wiring diagrams for these cars that can hook it up?

If all else fails I'm going to buy a f@#king switch and a fuse holder and cut the power to the faceplate when ever I did not need to operate it's controls.

Edit: Oh and link to the video of the fault -> https://youtu.be/ecYQzLBZvgs

Thanks!
The BCM I believe is what I was poking and prodding; is located directly under the dash on the drivers side... I don't recommend messing with it. I think your and my faults are different. Mine is completely isolated to the faceplate controls and I have no other symptoms. If I just had access to the wiring diagram... I could at least fix my car but you said your car was suffering from more than a faceplate wigging out.

Edit: we don't really use turn signals in South Florida...

2016 out of bumper to bumper? You put over 36,000 miles on her (him, her, w.e.) already?!? Your a beast.

I'm guess all they're going to do for 100 bucks (just happen to be my experience) is look at, confirm it's happening, maybe scan it for codes and try to throw a radio unit at it (about 600 parts only, not including labor) and then say it may also need the faceplate if that doesn't fix it.

2016 base radio setup? does it look the same as the 2013s? I know the body is different. I've never been in one and checked it out.

Turns out it was not the faceplate. Replaced one then the other. The radio unit was the failed component. Now theres a new problem... it's locked lol. At least I have full AC control now. Read on a thread somewhere on this forum that only the dealer can flash it so the new radio is recognized. Will update when performed and confirmed.

Ive been driving with face plate unplugged and it seems to work fine lol. Im trying to find any TSBs for the base model radio. A new faceplate costs about 300 bucks, used for about 100.
had this issue with my 2006 pontiac solstice.removing the face plate and cleaning the contact points with electrical contact cleaner fixed it.maybe it will work for you too.

Radio Resets 2013 V6 LS

along the same lines as the other posts in this thread: the radio is resetting constantly. It blacks out, if my blinker is on that goes silent and the buttons below the radio (fan a/c or heat) go out as well. It comes back on seconds later with a FM radio station playing. My car has it's original factory radio, and has 66k miles. I dug around in the trunk and found the fuse box, the radio fuse looks great. The problem is isolated to the radio, I'm not having any other issue with the car. I'm considering putting in an after market radio. The local dealership was no help at all, they wanted to have the car all day and spend 5 hrs @ $120/hr to diagnose.
