Gas Guzzler Tax....Again
There seems to be no consensus on this. I sent BeckyD a t PM, but no response yet.
I am buying my ZL1 on the GM Supplier Discount. The GSM price is $63088.05. My car got built this week, and my dealer got invoice today with the $1300 GGT. The GSM price is now 64,351.65. Anybody else have the GGT added?

gas guzzler tax is always added after discounts. They can't discount the gas guzzler tax

You guys will get a kick out of this. I picked up my car earlier this week but got this email this morning from my sales guy....
"GM notified us the other day not to deliver any ZL1’s because they forgot to add the Gas Guzzler Tax to invoice . Guess what ! we absorbed cost and you’re good. I have the new window sticker that reflects accurate MSRP . " That should clear it up. GM screwed up the stickers on the first batch of cars. |

Interesting, I thought Supplier Pricing was 6% off of MSRP but this equals less than 4%.

Does this tax differ from state to state? My salesman tried telling me the tax in Nebraska is $2500. That's ridiculous
