Differential Fluids.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but cant search from my phone. Getting new gears and a Tru-Track installed. I've always ran Red Line in my race cars; would i use the non-synthetic gear oil and has anyone used Red Line in their rears?

The tru-trac prefers anything without friction modifier. I use a conventional 80/140weight. I called them and was told the weight isn't that important. But that they recomend a conventional fluid without friction modifier. Most synthetics have a modifier mixed in already. Just check the fluid any make sure no friction modifiers are added.

I'm running the correct weight of Royal Purple in my Z28 diff and have been driving it for almost a year with a track day at NCM thrown in with no issues.

Gear Oil
Went with the Red Line 80-90 synthetic gear oil with out the additive, rear is good to go, no noise what so ever. The builder did an excellent job and i even got to watch and he explained what he was doing with each of the tools. never to old to learn something.
