BMW's and Mercedes drivers

I bought a used BMW 320 when I was in Germany in the 80's, one of my favorite all time cars, not quick off the line but handled great and would do 110-120 on the autobahn all day long. That inline 6 was bullet proof! Over there though they were like chevys here. Mine had no a/c, crank windows, no cruise. I think it's only options were rear window defroster and am/fm radio. So it's a different animal but here in the U.S. I must agree most (not all) BMW/MB drivers are first class douche nozzles...

It's a midwest thing also, although probably not to the same degree. Here, Dodge trucks are MUCH more likely to try to play than Chevy and Ford. Actually, rarely if ever have I seen a Ford truck driver try to play. Although my definition of playing is not just physically racing, but among other things revving their engine, or greatly speed up when you try to get around them.

Among cars, Mustangs and Camaros are equally likely to rev at people.

Not that I believe the make of a car signifies %100 what type of person is driving, I did have some newish BMW tailgating me at 4:30AM. I saw a deer eating on the side of the road so I slowed down to about 15ish when the guy goes to pass over a double yellow. Right then I stop and the deer takes one big leap into the road CRACK!!!!! the guy hits the deer while driving on the wrong side of the road right next to me.

I kept driving since my first thought would be that they would blame me for them hitting the deer, that's how people are around me.

there seems to be a disproportionate amount of douchebag drivers in:

BMW's: The go to douchebag car. Usually from privileged background, some finance firm, or some kid in mommy's "luxury" grocery getter. Feels like they're worth more than they are as a person and driver.

V6 90'-2000s era Mustang: Go to young and broke douchebag car. these cars are everywhere and are a dime a dozen. Everyone with a penchant to drive wrecklessly and without talent buys one. Its been true for a long time now, dating way back.

Generic Japanese make: Watched too many fast & Furious movies, now drives like a douchebag as a result.

Lots of modified trucks in our area, but I had a new Duramax be super annoying on 95. I would let him trap himself and cut through traffic another way and he would come flying up from behind 5 minutes later at well over 110 just get next to me. By the looks of the guy, I think it was his boss's truck.
