The finish looks to be ceramic coated on the tube, and polished aluminum at the box.
I bought it used from a forum member for close to half price, it was pretty scratched up, so I polished the best I could.
For the savings, it was worth it yo me.

Thanks for considering our CAI system! We are a top performer on the 5th gen Camaros, gaining 15-18 HP consistently. One thing that sets us apart is our dedication to Camaro owners. We have developed an entire engine bay package for the C5 and continue to cater to owners in ways of customer service, additional customization options, and forum support. Most companies have moved on to the 6th gen forum and forget about the C5 guys. I have made is a point to not lose touch with the group of folks who gave us a strong name in the Camaro crowd.

Below are a couple pictures of some different styling options.

Roto-fab air intake, yellow box, black hoses, dry filter.
Roto-fab custom painted aluminum engine covers

Roto-fab air intake, radiator cover, engine covers, fuse relay cover.

Thanks everyone for your continued support of our product!

I will admit that Rotofab makes one of the nicest looking Cai around. The fact that they perform well is a bonus. I wish someone would run a track test of the top 5 CAI and please for the love of God, include a Vararam to boot. Have a tune that squeezes as much power out of each one and get an avg from 3 runs.

Greg,

Thanks for reaching out on the forum. There are many combo's you can choose when styling under the hood of your car that allows everyone to be unique. Since we use high quality aluminum construction for not only the intake tube but also the intake box and lid, you have the option to paint, powder coat, or hydro dip the entire system however fits your style. I have attached a picture of a recent customers custom intake color on his car for a great example along with the others that the forum members have posted. We are and always will be supportive of any of our great customers that continue to support us and if you have any other questions about our intake system you may call us at 810-392-9999. Thanks

If you would like to see all of our different color options, check out our interactive engine bay designer! You can change your hose colors, airbox and sticker color, Add engine covers and a radiator cover...and more. It's fun to play with. And more importantly, a free look at our different options.
