Curious question

What do all of you do for a living? The reason I ask is between these forums and what I see around town where I live there are alot of SS Camaros and a few ZL1's as well. I mean I know what an SS goes for around here...$40,000+ after finance rates and whatnot. I simply cant imagine that there are this many people who can swing a $600-800 a month car payment!

I used my Tax Return in January and put down 38K. That covered my 22K downpayment along with my dealership installed Supercharger, Lowering, and Exhaust and left me owing 16.5K with a monthly of $285 which isnt to bad. Im in the Logistics field. Hopefully this will be paid off by December so I can start looking at Tahoes....

I'd guess there are a lot of married guys (and gals) here and with two incomes. Finances are a lot different for them and so are their toys. Some of my married friends have payments over $600 a month and it's no big deal for them.

Divorced or single? Yeah, we had to put a chunk down, and/or trade-in to keep the payments reasonable. (Under $400 a mth. here).

Work in the field of accounting. Being recently divorced allowed me to save up a nice down payment. Opting for a 1SS instead of a 2SS also saves a few thousand.

By day I'm a glorified drafter, but I prefer the term "ghetto engineer" (engineer without a degree) Currently I design boats for a local boat manufacturing plant here in town, from the little 12' lake boat all the way up to 30' Offshore ocean boats. Kinda cool. Before the boat stuff, I used to design aircraft boarding ramps for the only company in north America that makes them. If you've ever got onto or off of a plane via a ramp, odds are good that I had a hand in it.

By night, I sling license plate brackets
