Ramps for 1LE?

I have a set of Rhino ramps that I used for my 2002 Z28 and they do not clear the front splitter on the 1LE. What ramps are you guys using with your 1LE?

Try placing a short length of 2x4 on the ground in front of the ramp. That should give you enough clearance to not need new ramps. I used a set of cheap ramps from the auto parts store and the driveway had just the right slope to clear the splitter.

Is a floor jack not a better option? I ask because it has been what I have used on all my f-bodies, and await the deliver of our new 1LE.

By far one of best purchases I made to work on a lowered vehicle was a set of race ramps. I also have a set to assist in loading lowered cars onto a trailer.....Super light weight. Not cheap, but they work

i had the same problem with my 2lt/ZL1 front end.

made a DIY ram using 3 2x10x10 search for the instructions but its rather simple first piece was 8 inches long then 6 inches long then 4 and 2. nail or screw

now i drive my car on then if i need to i jack it up from there

This. Rhino Ramps don't offer enough clearance if you're lowered.

I don't like working under the car when it is on jack stands. Just my preference I guess. If I won't be under the car then a floor jack should be okay. I should probably check that for clearance too...

Yes, but well worth it anytime you have to get under te car. Save so much time over driving onto a board or getting out the jack just to get it on or off conventional Rhino style ramps (which I have also)

I was reluctant because of cost, but have not regretted it at all.

Race ramps do give some. The tires will leave imprints on the ramps, so don't freak out when that happens.

I use the 2 piece 67" Race Ramps for my 1LE. They work perfectly with the lower front end and the splitter.
