Question for Craftsman tool junkies
I was looking for a rotary tool to do a few mods I wanted to do with. Turns out I found an craftsman rotary tool in the garage. Problem is the attachments are no where to be found. I need an attachment that will cut through plastic. Does anyone know how to find out what attachments will fit on it?

If the collet fits, you can get roto-zip or dremel bits.

I use Roto-zip bits in a die grinder.

Most craftsman rotary tools were actually built by Dremel and then re-branded for Craftsman. As others have mentioned if the collet fits, then just about any Dremel bit will fit.

Okay well I've been doing some research and it turns out that you guys are right. This is pretty much just a dremel clone. But the problem is it's 17 years old . How would I know what dremel bits work on it? Or do all dremel bits work on all dremel rotary tools?

I believe Dremel and roto-zip use 1/8" collets.
