13' LFX with NPP dual exhuast upgrade...
Anyone here upgrade their LFX to NPP aftermarket?
I have a chance to buy a complete NPP exhaust but I'd like to know what parts are needed to make this all work. Will the SS NPP work on a V6 LFX? Different size pipes? What do you need to get the NPP wired up and working? Thx

I wonder if the NNP flaps stay open all the time or would I have to fins a way to do this?

in a car that comes with it from factory, pulling a fuse makes them stay open so i would think they would be open without hooking up power to them.

The factory setup uses some electrical box and vacuum lines to open/close the flaps. Without them, I think it will be open always.
There is an aftermarket product you can buy to control them....I think it is called "NPP in a Box"

i thought it was called Mild to Wild or something like that...but i would just want them open all the time if i installed those.

Without hooking up any hoses or anything to the NPP the default state of the flaps is open. There are Mild2Wild NPP kits you can get that allows you to run a controller and tubing to pull vacuum from the motor to control the state of the flaps.
I installed the NPP on my 2010 and it hooked up without modifying anything, aside from switching diffusers for the exhaust tips to fit. I decided to opt out of running the NPP tubing and love the sound, I don't get any annoying drone or anything. It's great!

Well this was about the easiest way to get quad tips. lol
This was simple to install. Less than an hour. I get the 1LE diffuser tomorrow. It a much softer drone so I'm happy. I think with the "npp in a box" kit you can activate the flaps on long trips if needed. I'm happy with it. They look great. The sound is awesome at wot.

please put a video. I want to get my car with Quad exhaust. I wish that vendors would considered us V6 in giving us a quad exhaust system setup.

My buddy has a GoPro. I'll get some videos posted soon.
