Max size Wheel/Tire Combo (width)?
Hello, I'm a longtime member but a new 5th gen owner. I've got a 2013 Camaro SS and I'm wondering whats the max width wheel/tire combo that my 5th gen can use without any modifications. I couldn't find a direct answer to my question searching, but I'm hoping someone can help. I've seen people on the forum with 315's out back, and I'm curious to know if thats without any modification. Thanks everyone.
Also I plan on getting the MRR M228 rims Im just worried that a 10.5"-11" wheel wont fit Last edited by TFord; 08-26-2016 at 03:26 AM. |

I have 10.5 front and 11.5 rear. Not lowered and no problems.

Can't say from personal experience but from the many hours of research I've done: 305 can fit in the rear without any modifications as this is the stock size for the ZL1 (+43 mm offset); 315 can fit but regardless of the wheel offsets/suspension mods there is potential for rub (when there is a lot of weight in the back/trunk and you hit a big bump/hole); up front 285 can fit without mods as this is the stock size for the 1LE/ZL1 (+23 mm offset); not sure if 295 can fit without sticking out without mods (namely smaller diameter springs); I believe 305 will stick out regardless, hence the fender flares on the Z28.
Feel free to correct me on any of this as I would like to know this info too! |

285/35 up front on a 10" wheel
315/35 rear on a 11" wheel To avoid issues with stabilitrack, it's generally recommended to go 275/40 front (10")and 315/35 rear (11"). Just chat with Paul at Need4Speed, he will hook you up. |
