2011 Convertible Top part number - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have a 2011 2SS Vert and there are a couple rub spots and a very small hole in the top that was there when I bought it. There are also some marks above the bows that wont come out. I was thinking about getting a new top as mine is fading a little and looks crappy.
I found this part number 22985764 and was wondering if this is the correct one. It says 1st design in the description and my top has had the bow repair according to the vin check. $745 seems like a good price but just wanted to get some opinions on this one or if there are better options.

Not sure yet. I have an Awesome upholstery guy who said he could do it. Just curious about the part because they always say first edition with that part number. Did they modify it and make it better later? Or are the aftermarket ones better? Just trying to get some info before I buy

I believe they modified it in 2012 and also improved the drainage from the water bag as well.

Would one from a 2012 fit a 2011? I found the part number for the second design it its 22903702. Right about the same price too.

Yes it will. Better to use the new design.

Now I am finding no one wants to put the top on. Called 3 shops and all of them said no way or wanted $2000+ for labor.

Not surprised. Apparently it is s tougher job than most other tops.
