"modern" sidepipes...

Anyone with an idea for a modernized sidepipe exhaust for the 2010? I was thinking maybe with a square or hexagonal outer cross-section? I loved the perforated sidepipes on my '70 split bumper.

Side pipes went out with Disco, (no I didnt like the Viper ones) The more updated version of side exhaust would be 2 pipes coming out from behind the front wheels, like the Mclaren SLR. (just my opinion)

my ideal side pipes would be something like on this photoshop that exit just infront of the rear wheels. im gonna see what i can do to make this happen once i get my car.

That looks really good and the Camaro is tall enough to handle a ground effect that will bury the exhaust........SWEEET!!!

I'm on a different machine at the moment, but I might have a modified GFX sideskirt that's begging for sidepipes... I'll throw up what I can find in a few hours once I'm home.

Side pipes or side exit exhaust?

I think side pipes would be retrocool, but troble finding who could put them on and also would only look good for 6 months before they are sandblasted from road grit and dull. side exit pipes would be cool, but your sound is a little diminished when the pipes are separated that far.
