A Bit of Bragging
ever since i took off the rear bow tie, i thought the rear of the car looked a bit plain.....like it was missing something. I found a place that makes the #1 numeral (this is harder than you would think) and put the old school displacement on the opposite side of the trunk lid

Wow! We are loving this build! Our intake install in the parking lot is very cool. Can't wait to keep seeing updates and the finished product and numbers. Keep up the good work!

I'm sure the temps and tires weren't helping!

Safety
I've been arguing with myself for quite some time about putting harnesses/head restraint in the car. a harness bar would meet the need, however i was not real comfortable without roll over protection........yes, i know the car is quite stiff and has a great roll over rating.........although a roll bar would increase my chances. not a big deal to put a roll bar into the car, it just moves the car further away from a "street car" definition.
So, after much angst and deliberation i purchased a roll bar, 6pt harnesses and a REV head restraint. the carpet is thicker than i planned, so the anti-sub attachment points need to be changed before i can run the harnesses. also i will change the lap belt attachment points on the tunnel to an eyelet from the "dog-bone" style. the reason is that the anchor buckle is too tight between the tunnel and the seat bracket. the door side attachment will continue to use the dog-bone bracket. more pictures to come

Brakes again...............
two track weekends ago, i noticed that the rotors were just starting to crack. now they are big enough to feel..............so new rotors were required.
i decided to add the Z28 inner fenders and ducts at the same time. hopefully they will delay the next cracking. Thx to Nick for the duct write-up http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=418879

She's a BIG girl
i weighed the car the other day in street trim (3/4 tank of fuel, spare tire and kit......nothing removed from the car). i was expecting the side to side to not be so different.

A bit more regarding the harness anchors
The carpet is quite thick, particularly where the anti-sub attachments are. So I sourced some longer eye bolts and stood them off with nuts. I needed 2 nuts for the anti-sub and 1 for the tunnel attachment. The nuts were secured with green locktite and the plates with red.

Your build is very nice and detailed for everyone to notice the upgrades you have done to the car. Keep the updates going with the pictures.

Great build, do you have any pics of your trailer hitch install? Saw a vid of someone doing it on a Porsche last night and was thinking of doing the same thing.
