Red Halos seen

I was driving to dinner last night in metairie, pretty much new orleans, and I saw a SIM camaro with red halos on, and his rims were painted black or dark grey with a red trim around the rim. Does anyone know how he did this?

I guess what i was asking was is there a way to change the color of the stock ones, without having to open up the headlight. Is there a bulb or is the ring actually a fluorescent?

Yes, if any red lights ( or any color other then orange or white ) facing front foward on vehicle while the car is in motion.. You can have them on if the vehicle is parked.

ring is actually a fluorescent - is true and not true.

Point being - u must replace the whole ring.

Yes. It is a federal law that red and blue lights on the front of the vehicle is reserved for emergency vehicles only. Also in some states you can also be arrested for impersonating an emergency vehicle which is a felony.

It's also a very expansive addon if you are caught. In NC it's a $2,000 fine plus they must be removed and handed over for destruction.

Yeah I can't drive my KITT car around with the red scanner going back and forth. Would be cool though...
