Check out this thread for the pdf files: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15172

I am hoping that those might not be the final prices.. they seem a bit high. I think GM would actually make more money by keeping their prices lower and selling higher volumes of accessories. If the prices are too high people will just buy aftermarket from someone else.

For $1k you're getting 2 subs, a sub box and an amp. That's not too bad, really. Granted, MTX isn't exactly the greatest sub manufacturer out there, but they're not cheap either. Sure, I could probably build my own setup for cheaper and get a better sound, but a lot of people out there don't have the time or desire to go through that hassle. So, this price actually seems pretty reasonable.

Take your Camaro's technology to a higher level with an upgraded Audio System-Subwoofer. This system adds two 10-inch subs and a matched 200 watt amplifier to your Camaro in a custom, sealed enclosure. The system is tuned to enhance the factory GM sound system, adding low, clean sounding bass for true quality music reproduction. It's like putting surround sound in your Camaro.

and dont forget your forum discount~!

$892.50 + actual shipping

Are there Sub-out pre-amps that run into the trunk, or what?

I'm guessing that there's a sub pre-amp out in the trunk... or maybe a sub line off the Boston amp... or MAYBE they wanna hijack and split the stereo pre-amps and feed them into the separate sub amp.

Scotty is the big stud around these parts... he should have the answer.
