WOW sounds like I missed a great time! Wwhat was the official count of club cars at the show? looks like a great turn out!

Had a birthday party up north we took the new Camaro and had a show of our own!!! every one wanted to check it out and I was like the proud poppa! Wife drove home and what do you know she LOVES the car!!! She got right into it on RT81 and realized 80 MPH comes quick!!!the front is covered with bugs I guess at 80MPH they don't have a chance. Now I have to wash it??????

Decisions, decisions. I think we'll drive out to Schoharie on Saturday. Won't show, but we'll come to see the cars and hang. Weather depending, of course. I'd love to go to the valley, but two shows - I got yard work to do! Maybe in the fall.

Due to being back in the pack and the bonus of the extra lap (thought the course looked kinda different) I hit 116mph on one lap and 114mph on the last lap. Being back away from the pace car was a bit of a bonus and then the track miraculously was wiiiiiiiiiide open in front of me. Thanks to all, a pleasure as always. Will be down to Sylvan at least once or twice over the summer and will hopefully recruit some reinforcements to make the trip with me. Anyone coming to Oshawa I will see you there..........

i saw you guys in the boot + i went right to avoid some slow traffic.i even went straight past the esses once to get past slower cars. the next lap i almost ate the bmw tring to get past him.after all it is a race track.i wasnt there to admire the nice views or taste wine.lol

I'm going to be exhausted after sailing for 40 hours during the Block Island Race on Fri -> Sat but we may be short on crew so if we cancel I'll consider making the trip up!

We have a club offer for our UpstateC5 group for the Sahlen's 6 hours at the Glen Grand Am race June 3-5. $20/person for a weekend ticket, park in the club corral in the infield, access to pits, teams. On track parade laps Friday. We need 5 cars. Click on the link below for the flyer. Anyone interested let me know. I have to let the track know by this Friday.

Dont lose sleep over it, the fact you have the moxy to get on a track is a plus!! The track failed in their assumtion that we have all done this before, you'll get plenty of practice, some of us go a couple times a year and we'll bring ya with us when you can go!

Remember: you have no way of knowing what you dont know until you realize you didnt know it...

That being said: F^@K HEMMINGS..In the old days it was a good company with people who cared about cars. But now nothing more than corporate scum looking to make money off the hard work and efforts of the car community...They used me and my Black and White as a feature article in their "MUSCLE MACHINES" magazine about "Muscle"cars, invited me every year to "MUSCLEPALOOZA", they even gave me a "BEST MUSCLE MOPAR" award and asked me to make a run down the track for a photo op..(And I will include the video!!)....THEN LAST YEAR (after they invited me), and I drove 1.5 hours ONE WAY on at the time $4.00 gallon gas and $8.0 gallon race fuel mix....they told me I couldnt come in because .....you guessed it..I DONT HAVE A MUSCLE CAR??? WTF??? Your telling me I blew $100 on gas and wasted an entire day away from another show and that I cant go in and spend a day with my friends because of what I am driveing...which by the way YOU YOURSELF CALL A "Muscle Car" ..
I tried to open a dialog with the idiot at the gate who I found later was the EDITOR but all he could do was walk around like a Zombie and say "It aint a muscle car". Well YOU agreed it was when you wrote the article to make money off me and it was built specifically to pursue and detain muscle cars...
I found out later they wanted to fill a void in their readers so they did a series on cop cars...they used all of us to make money then crapped on us when they were thru...yeah way to go HEMMINGS....Some body get me that "Little Old Lady from Passadena with the finger" smiley!!

90% of what I do with the Black and White is for charity, I dont hunt trophies and could care less about why one car got awards and another didnt. I DO get bent when a person pours a ton of money and time into a car and doesnt get a fair shake because of some idiot judge who doesnt know what hes looking at or a corporate sleaze out to make money off of my time and my dime!!

Thank goodness for THIS group its all about the FUN!
