Thanks for the feedback. The Brembo Red is definitely their branding and suits it. There needs to be some color separation. I need to look for some pics of the IOM on IOm.

Yeah I agree on color separation with the red calipers. I think IOM calipers would have been too much IOM. Red is a nice touch and gives some pop

Ok so I ordered a heritage grill. I went satin black to fit well with the blackout area. Should have new pics up this week. I'm also trying to get some new sound bytes.

I finally slapped on the ZL1 pedals as well.

Also since doing the ZL1 front end conversion, I'm running the liners and brake ducts. This should help out quite a bit on the track. I've also installed the rotofab big gulp to divert air to the CAI as well as the brakes.

So here are a few pics and descriptions of some of the items being built for me and installed into the car. The beast gets a bit more beastly. Say hello to my little friend...

GM LS7 aluminum block
427-CID displacement
4.000 SLP/Manley 4340 forged steel crankshaft, balanced to rotating assembly
4.125" SLP/Manley 2618 forged alloy pistons
6.125" SLP/Manley 4340 forged steel H-beam rods
SLP 427 Camaro Supercharger (w/custom pulley set to produce 10 psi of boost)
SLP 51018 Camshaft .654/.658-inch lift 214/230 duration @ 0.50 120° LSA
SLP/LS3 Cylinder Heads
SLP 1.85 Rockers
SLP Double Row Timing Chain Set
SLP Boost-A-Pump
SLP 85 lbs/hr Injectors
SLP 160° Thermostat
SLP Custom Tune
SLP 55001 Heavy-Duty Oil Pump
New GM Lifters and Lifter Guides
Hardened Pushrods
ARP Cylinder head studs
MLS Head Gaskets
10.82:1 compression ratio (nominal)
58 Tooth reluctor wheel
ZR1 Plugs
ZR1 Map Sensor

--

I am also throwing on some heavy duty half shafts and a new driveshaft.

New Clutch

And BMR Pro Set Bushings are going to be thrown on to marry up the rest of the BMR suspension installed.

There are also SLP LTs and Magnaflow mid pipes installed. Once this is all put together and custom dyno tuned we should be hitting some good HP/TQ numbers. I can't wait to here the rumble of the cam and the new insane exhaust tone. We are also trying to figure out the best ratio for the cog drive on this setup to keep boost happy and hearing that blower whine!

Also the car is going to be completely overhauled and I'm parting with IOM and welcoming Hugger Orange. Alternative Auto Tech does an incredible job at their huge facility in MI. Check out their site altautotech(dot)com. They will be using PPG paint and applying around 5-6 layers of base, adding the painted stripes, and then 6 or so layers of clear. Not only is it durable high quality paint, but lots of it. I wish it came from the factory this way. Also it will be great having the stripes buried in the clear.

They are also doing a handful of other custom work to the car to get it done just right.

Now I understand I'm changing a great thing that doesn't need to be changed. There are several factors that went into my decision and I think once I post pics after its complete you'll see why I went this route.

The ride is being picked up Thursday and will be at their facility for a while, probably 5-6 weeks. I've asked if pics can be taken a long the way for the purpose of this thread and they agreed to it. So stay tuned...

Not for nothing bro, but why would sink that kind of money into all that?
