# kms I will get with tires?

Does anyone know how many kms I can expect to get from the tires before they require replacement? 18" Anyone know what replacement cost would be for the tires? I've never had a car with low profile tires.

Best guess...35000 km $260/tire CDN

Those 18's are a weird size. Try tirerack.com or somewhere like that.

If you maintain correct tire pressure and rotate at regular intervals, you will get the most kms possible.

He was asking about 18" tires on an LT.... He'll get at least 20 miles man.

Me, I'm thinking about sending smoke signals from the parking lot in Buffalo all the way back to Oshawa without the front tires ever moving. That means 0 miles I guess- along with a real nasty smell...

Well, my 07 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged came with 18" pirellis, in a 215/45/18 size. I rotated them at irregular intervals, (6 000, 12 000, 18 000, 26 000 and again at 30 000 kms) and then again at every other stop sign/red light/leaving the driveway instance possible.

I have 36 000 kms on my SS SC, and the tires are bald. Little to nothing left, except some nice memories, and looks on peoples faces.

Just for fun, i seen what GM wanted for replacement Pirellis (even though i wasn't getting them again!) and they wanted $630 CDN each!!
I got some nice BFG GForce KDW2's in 225/45/18 as replacements to put on this summer. They cost $260 CDN a peice.
