Ship to Commerce
This past Friday, the all new Camaro received clearance for "ship to commerce." Starting this week, the various models that have been produced since March 16, 2009, will start their journey to dealerships across the country! Within these first shipments will be a number of sold Camaro SS orders. Anticipation for these first sold orders is very high – be sure to deliver these vehicles to customers as quickly as possible.

Enrollment Open for 15-Cities Training Tour
The kick-off to the Camaro 15-Cities Training Tour is just over a week away. Response has been tremendous, and additional sessions in select cities have been added to accommodate the demand. An attendance report for each session in each city will be available this week. You can enroll through the Chevrolet Launch Training Central on GMTraining.com.

Important IDL Broadcast
The April Update IDL is scheduled for Friday, April 3, 2009. During this broadcast, our leadership team will provide an update on the upcoming Camaro unveiling activity. Further details including time and channel for this broadcast will be provided soon.

How is this good news except to those who already have their vins and are waiting to get their cars? That I can see - they are finally shipping the cars they have already made.

Training doesn't apply to me and doesn't get my car built faster.:(

Is the IDL going to talk about NOT making cars for other entities and instead producing vehicles only for those who pre-ordered? If it is just about when the TV commercials are coming out then there is just going to be a lot more people who will order and then have to sit and wait for the car.

So are they only shipping off sold order SS and dealer v6s, no sold order v6s, sorry for the confusion
