The only thing I absolutely hate about the dash, is how completely bare the passenger side of the dash is, plus that center vent is WAY too wide!! It looks incredibly boring on the right. But other than that, I'm liking it a lot!

PEOPLE my theory is that the Center Gauges will be housed in Black, not the silver you see there. it will still have the same shape without the chrome outlining...

my evidence for such a theory??

well its either that, or GM has decided to Duck Tape the Chrome into place.

did anyone else see the tape holding those onto place?????

Plus they don't play well with aftermarket systems. Hope they are an option, I will choose no thanks :/

On another subject, WTH is this?

I dont see why its even an issue because its in the same place in the mustangs and many many other cars.

Here you go...

They may not be what you would consider traditional paddle shifters...but they are none-the-less. In fact, on Chevy.com they describe them as "steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters."

However, if the Camaro would get this technology for it's automatic...I'm sure they would opt for the pull-type paddles as opposed to these thumb-pushed paddles.

I wonder how many times people have extended their thumb to shift and instead ended up blasting their stereo

Werd....i was really hoping this was a no-brainer given the vette has had push button ignition since '05...

I guess you have to save money somewhere...

the buttons near the gauges on the console are probably the suspension adjustments, and maybe something to do with overall performance modes (sport, etc).

a passenger side display????? interesting.....that hasnt been done before?

interior refinement: I like it overall. details and fit and finish are showing a marked improvement.

EDIT: we have to consider how hard it was to get the shots of the interior. Brenda Priddy & Co are THE spy shot MASTERS!!! holy schnikies.....

reserving final opinions until they hit the dealer floor.
