I can see Ford adding 30-50 hp, doing a facelift, and minor touches in the interior, but not as drastic as many seem to be saying. Hell the concepts I have seen just look like a rounded and smoothed out version of the current vehicle...Ford's prices keep them in the game..I don't see them tampering with that. |

does anyone know if the SS stock rear spoiler is going to be a lip or an actual wing like the one they showed on the red camaro with the ground effects, hockey stripes and black wheels a couple months ago?

Man, I sure am trying, but I don't really notice the huge differences you guys are seeing between the bumpers in the different models. Sure, the grill looks a little different, but what about the actual bumper?
Granted, I am just now trying to get into the whole muscle car 'scene', so little subtleties like these make it that much harder. Anyone care to explain? |

all new cars take a depreciation hit when they cross the curb out of the dealership. it's all about the first year. i know i can wait one or two model years and then buy one used for about half what they cost new. it's just the nature of the beast. this is also why the first year's payments are all interest. the bank wants to be sure they get their money up front as opposed to in later years. if they waited for their money, people would never be "uypside down" on their loan (owing more than the car is worth) because you would be making principal-only payments. the only way out of this is to pay off the loan early or pay cash for the car. either way, you still take the hit on depreciation.

I'd really like to see the 5.0 in the stang again and IMO if they give it 375hp it will run with the maro. That being said, I doubt it will get indy suspension and it will gain some weight. After I install a CIA and full exhaust on the maro I'm really gonna focus on weight reduction because the power is there. It's going to be my fair weather driver so I could do without some of the safety equipment.

I hope Ford does upgrade the Mustang, more power, better interior, etc. I don't think Dodge will be around in 5 years so Chevy needs competition from Ford to continue to improve the Camaro.
