Address Book?

Only the iPhone 3GS has voice dialing. Although for me its more for incoming calls, which is why the system is total fail for me.

I picked up my 2011 2SS this week. On page 7-22 of the Owners Manual, it says that the bluetooth system allows "Sharing of the cell phone's address book or contact list with the vehicle." I can access the phonebook from the menu/select knob, but am having problems with the voice control (either the in-car, or the iPhone4-through-bluetooth).

Anyone have success using the voice control?

GOT THE Voice Control working with my iPhone!!!

1. Press the call button on the steering wheel.

2. Say "Bluetooth"

3. Say "Voice"

4. Wait for the confirmation beep from your phone.

5. Say "Call" and the name of the person in your AddressBook

I have 800+ names in my AddressBook and everything works great. Name appears on the radio/display screen, and on the HUD!

I'm good to go!

Hmmm really? That is very interesting. Did not know that. So you haven't programmed those names/numbers into the camaro, but rather the camaro hooks into your iphone's address book? Cool.

I need to try this, so EGP, your saying you didnt program any numbers into the Camaro but rather the Camaro hooked up with your address book from your phone? This would be soooooo coool if this is true.

Yep, no programming required. Directly hooks up with my iPhone 4 AddressBook and Voice Control.
