Is anyone else afraid to get their car wet? I mean I haven't even washed mine yet. Am I crazy?

Yeah I would have to say you are crazy...lol. I am constantly washing mine because I want it to look good. I'm afraid of dirt and dust, not water...lol.

My car is spotless. I drive it dust it and park it. I'm afraid my rotors will start to rust and that looks terrible.

I'm not afraid of hose water getting it wet,
But since I have another vehicle and the Camaro is not a daily driver, she stays waxed and polished and tucked in the garage on rainy days

I love for her to shine when the suns out

You're doing more damage by not washing it. You need to get contaminants off of the paint that are in the environment. Go hand wash it right now.

Probably.

As far as the rotors rusting, the 1st time you use the brake they'll be all shiny again.
