3200 circle d and rear suspension install results!

Wow! Is all I can say. Had the 278mm 3000-3200 circle d installed with some other transmission goodies like a jre dipstick tube, B&M deep pan. Rear suspension got cradle bushings, outer arm bushings, upper control bushings, toe rods, trailing arms. Basically everything other than differential bushings, sway bar and control arms. All BMR goodies.

Car squats and launches hard! I have only had it back a day and have been testing it out after the tune but I did a pull from 1st gear at about 15-20mph and not even a tire chirp with the General Gmax rs tires. Before the generals would give a little but way better than the stock Pirelli tires which couldn't hold anything.

Motor revs quick from idle to about 3025-3150 when you floor it. Whole back end squats and the front end of the car lifts up and it just goes. Feels like I am on one of those roller coasters that goes from stop to full speed instantly. What a difference!

If any of you are wondering if you should do a stall like this on the street with a small cam or stock cam? Wonder no longer! The 11 inch converter is easy as a daily car.

Made a bigger difference I think then the headers, cai and tune imo. Now I just need some drag radials and some 1.6 60s and hoping for low 12s at HRP this year.

The stall speed is hardly noticeable and my wife said she can barely tell the difference. If you were to let someone who has never driven a stalled car or a L99 before they wouldn't either. Only in 1st gear does it need a little more pedal to get moving but once you get to about 20mph it feels normal to me. Suspension is a little rougher but only makes some squeaking noises over bad roads or something like railroad tracks. On a normal everyday road it is fine.

Very nice!! Now if you need some more stiffness to the rear install a set of billet solid cradle mounts in that puppy like I did, man it is solid!! Also I installed a 3.5 inch 1 piece aluminum driveshaft and man you talk about the revs getting up there quickly, boy they really do now!! What a difference above stock for sure!

Don't think about it, do it !! I wish I would have done it long ago, but then I wouldn't have just found more enjoyment outta my setup!! It is soooo smooth now, no more vibrations from the drive line and man even in 2nd gear she really winds up quickly! Almost feels like a rear gear change. And it is about 11.5lbs lighter than the stock piece. Got mine from the Drive Shaft Shop. The G-Max's were way out there to order one, 10 week wait and I got this one from Phastek in 3 days!! I was amazed, and well worth the money.

Be sure you have a transmission cooler put in as well. I've had my Circle D for 3 years now. I daily the car and run it at the strip. No problems with the transmission, cooler keeps it under 185* F during stop & go driving. Chris Seahorn @ Circle D will tell you the same thing.

Your stock axles will hold up at 1.6 60' launches. Once you get to the 1.5's they are on borrowed time. An Eaton True-Trac and a 3.91 gear would be good "next mods" for you.

You should get low 1.7's for sure at full weight on a properly prepped surface in good air.
Take the front/rear seats out, all the floormats, and anything else you can to reduce weight, and you should see mid/high 1.6's.

Don't waste money on 20" drag radials, get 17" or 18" MT ET Street R and you'll hook great.
