Broken rocker arm what do I do?
So I change the oil last week and found a very small spring and a few little pieces of metal on the drain plug. I go to checking the valve train and found a broken intake rocker. I have read a few threads where this happens but nothing really on what they did next. Anybody have this happen if so how did you go about fixing it?

Hopefully it's the pic but that spring doesn't look too healthy either.

If you do not have the skills and tools to repair it, you will need to get the car to someone who does. You will need a new valve spring, valve spring retainer, rocker are and most likely a valve cover gasket. If you have a compressor and tools along with an in car valve spring compressor such as from comp cams, you can do this repair at home.

The same thing happened to me in 2019. You and I have the same cam I believe. I got an oem replacement but will eventually move to either a T&D or Crower

Looking at those but can’t find the money right now luckily the rocker arms are easy to replace so it can be done later.
