1500 miles

This sounds strange but after 7 months I put 1500 miles on it and started noticing more throttle response and a looser rear end. I wonder if they program in a mandatory break in period to 1500 miles? All I know is that soon after 1500 miles the car seems much more fun and I haven't had one incident where I mash the peddle and the car stalls plus I have been able to fishtail the rear end more. The car feels completely different.

OP I had two LS1's and when I first got the 14 1SS I too thought that the older engine had more power...but I think that is just inferior tires and vehicle technology that allows for a "feeling" of faster. My older Camaros were used, so I think I simply had an easier time going 100% on the throttle. Artificially dismayed I turned off all the nannies and the 14 SS damn near left the concrete...I promptly turned traction control on and continued relearning the engine and its unique characteristics.

Kinda like some other posters mentioned, put your foot down you might find some magic under the hood. I could be wrong but, also with a manual you might want to be in second gear for those burnouts.

Ive never turned off the nannies in this one or my 11 automatic. Too nervous of what would happen.
