added K&N air intake

I added a K&N air intake on my 2014 Camaro SS 6.2 and it seem to run fine. But now I have a check engine code P1070 which is a MAP sensor type error. Anyone ever run into this?

MAF could need to be spun 180 degrees

I think you mean "MAF". As others have said, you may have reconnected the MAF sensor upside-down (if that's possible). Also, the pre-oiled filter may be overloaded and the oil is interfering with the MAF signal. Lastly, if your greasy little fingers handled the MAF connections, it could just need a good cleaning.

One more thing - sometimes it takes a little driving (few hours/hundred miles) for the ECU and MAF to communicate properly. I don't think that CEL code will hurt anything... just keep driving it and it should go away after some cold restarts.

Once you get your little problem fixed… you will enjoy it. I actually have one myself. Cant really hear unless you punch it a bit but I believe that is all Intakes.

CAI, Inc. intakes are very vocal, even at gradual acceleration... and especially when you punch it.
