Sidemarker issue - Need Help!

Hey, guys. So, I found out last night that my passenger sidemarker bulb fell out of the reflector. I took off the 3 bolts to partially remove the inner wheel well / fender lining to get better access to the bulb. After an hour of frustration, I still can't get the bulb to lock into place. I believe the bulb is put into the "socket", and then it rotates to lock into place. But, it seems extremely tricky. Does anybody have any tips or advice on how to get it back in the reflector?

I appreciate all input,

Thanks!

Did you remove the sidemarker? If you pop it out, it should be pretty easy to put the light bulb back in.

There is a tab on this light that you push in from back of light, this tab is plastic and may break if you push to hard..gently, push tab forward (towards headlight), you will see the whole housing come away from body of car, then with finger pull it out remainder of way..and you will have total access to do what your trying to do.

I've just been a bit scared of removing the sidemarker in fear of breaking it (I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate these cheap plastic parts). But, I'll give it a shot later today. Thanks for the quick responses, guys!
