I would love to have it as my daily driver - but my commute is 120 miles round trip!

So - I am using my colorado as my bad weather commuter and taking the Camaro out on nice days. However, parking at work may make me reconsider considering my colorado has had 4 hit and runs in the parking lot!

I'm retired, but yes.

I will use it daily though my distances vary from day to day. Just put 65 on my Passat this morning. I may keep my Passat as the insurance is low and I will use it some. I have an 06 Envoy that I use for skiing, fly fishing, surfing et al. So the SS will be somewhat pampered but it will get used. I make the run from LA to Berkeley (800 miles round trip) several times a season for Cal football games and the SS will be my I5 baby. Can't wait.

I personally wouldnt get the clear bra, my sister got it on her Lexus IS and it looks like s**t. The sheen is different and you can def. tell that it has a bra on it. Plus, over time the colors will fade.

120 miles round trip here ... 2SS for me

beats driving a 10mpg truck,

or a 35 mpg 4-banger hybrid.

I drive 110 miles round trip each day so my SS will not be a daily driver because I don't want to rack up miles. Also in WI we have usually bad winters which are not fun so I will only really be driving it maybe 5 months a year on weekends and a day or so a week. I have a Civic as my daily commuter so I can pour the miles on that and get 38mpg.

I currently drive a 2 SS/RS. 90 miles round trip for me. Add on all the extra running around town and I will have 125 miles/week easy. Daily driver, you bet. At first mine was going to be a "fun" car. After driving it, it is going to be my daily driver.

I want to drive this car. It is the most refined sports car out there. The most fun to drive. Great stereo. An A/C unit that will almost let you hang meat in your car. I cannot say enough good things about it. This car was built for driving, not sitting in a garage!!

I don't see why not. Over the highway at 24 mpg which it will be more when I slap it into 6th gear. I use my 05 GTO as a DD and it works just fine. So I don't see why you wouldn't.
