Glad nobody got hurt.
One of his punishments should be to identify himself on C5.

What would you say to him?

I would call him a dumb asshole like on his Facebook page. My 6 month pregnant wife travels at 6 p.m. on US 59 every day coming home from her job at Bank of America. Makes me mad to think she has had to commute home on the same road some little idiot was frequently driving reckless on. Ha ha boo hoo on losing his car. If a cop tries to pull you over, you'd better take some advice from this kids new ride (a pair of Nike's) and "Just do it".

What did his parents expect? He's obviously not even bright enough to figure out the right way to put on a hat...

nope, I think its 118ish for the LS, and 155ish for the others (LT and SS)with the pzero tires. correct me if I'm wrong but I think they are governed to the speed that the tires are rated for

I would not only slap the kid but slap the parents also. If your kid has a Facebook account and the parents are not monitoring it, then the blame is on them too. Also, if they are stupid enough to buy the idiot a 2010 Camaro and not expect him to not show off at that age, their idiots.

I was one of those spoiled kids that was given a fast (for the time) car when I was a teen. I got a brand new 85 Trans Am. (yeah, I know, nowadays my tahoe could probably dust it) With that said, I had no business in a car like that. How I'm still alive is a miracle. Obviously I can't speak for every teenager with a fast car, but I was not mature enough to handle it.

If you look at his info he was born in 1984. How does that make him 17 years old according to the article? Someone forgot to check their math I guess.

I wish our justice system were fixed so that incidents like this resulted in a loss of his driver's license for the remainder of his life. And then if he's ever found to be operating a motor vehicle in the future, he should then be immediately sent back to prison.

Stuff like this should be punished heavily and without impunity.

Hes young so he'll probably get the felony charge reduced to a misdemeanor with a good lawyer. Id say 2 years suspended license and 5 years probation. Just enough time to reflect on how dumb running from the cops is.

You are the LT with the RS package and the SS are both limited to 155.

But wow I can't believe someone would be so stupid to actually think you can evade the cops when they have a radio.
