Power Options
so i read a few threads on here about stroking and FI options. now i haven't messed around with v8's much but i know enough to get my way through an engine and do my own work. so my question is, would it be fesible to make the LS3 a stroker then throw some boost on it? if so what would be the gains/pros/cons and so forth.

Definetly possible...Has been done alot already. If you go forged internals you could throw some real boost on it and make huge horsepower.
There are some out there making over 1000hp....Now the problem is, how much will you use the vehicle and what will you use it for. That is where you need to find a happy medium so that you are not always putting your daily driver back together!!! Your biggest ons will be fuel consumption, and the reliability depending on how big you go. |
