I won't put up my plates for at least a year, since it is a 2010 and most cops will think you don't even have your plates yet....

The dealer has to put on the front license plate if you are in a state that requires it. My dealer is going to adhesive it on so I can take it off! My salesman is a retired motorcycle officer. Nie guy. We had along talk about the license plate and he wouldn't want it on his car either.

My state of Oregon requires the front plate. But, I have the bracket and until someone says something it's not going on. Hate to drill into the front clip. And yes it takes away from the sinister look of the car.

I'd love to avoid the front plate installation on mine, but since I work fairly close to the main station in town I might be asking for trouble

I've been going without mine for a few weeks but expect to be pulled over any day! I see cops and just expect them to pull me over!

I'm trying to work on a bracket to put mine on with...just not sure where to put it as anywhere on the front takes away from the look of the car.

Every motorcycle cop that passes in front of me does a double take. I'm hoping they just want to see the car but I'm never that lucky.

supposedly in the windshield is good enough in tx. i drove without one for 6 years in my truck and only had a problem on a military base. but, i kept it under my seat and just put it up in the window while there. other than that, no probs.

VA also requires the front bracket. I am working with a company to make a no-drill front mounting bracket. Here are some early pictures of it on a V6. It was originally designed for a V8 and we are trying to modify it now to fit both easily. More details coming soon.

I've lived in TX my whole life and have never had a front license plate on my car. None of the dealerships I've bought my cars from have ever put them on. They know people don't like it. I've been pulled over once and got a warning. I do worry that the Camaro draws too much attention and I might be pushing my luck not putting it on this time.
