Talking 6th Gen Brake Lines

Alright folks......

The other day there was a thread that I cant find right now but any whooooo

The discussion was brake lines and I post that there are some coming very soon.....

Well.............. here ya go.............

DOT Approved
Bolt on replacements
Front and Rear

Color options:
Red
Blue
Black

We should have this test set in about 1 week. They will go on the car as soon as we get them and from there we will test them out for a while to see how they perform. Then production will start, about 3 weeks after that we will have them ready to go.

These lines were designed to replace the SS brake lines but we will test on other vehicles to confirm fitment.

Stay tuned!!!!!

Hoping the ZL1 line locations are equivalent or even identical. The 1LE guys will love these (as well as those of us tracking our non-1LE SS)

We hope that they are the same as well. Only time will tell once we get our hands on them.

Updated with color options.

Perfect. These will go on when I change my fluid before my first track day. Will I notice an improved pedal feel?

We should notice a great improvement in pedal feel. I know with the 5th Gen a few laps on the track and the factory rubber lines tend to loose pedal feel.

Would you be so kind as to hold that red sample up against the factory taillight and back reflectors? I think you may be pretty close, which is what I would be looking for on any red accents.

Since when can't you see brake lines? =)

Btw, if these are made in the USA, they look like Crown Performance lines. If they are, might want to market them as such. They make all the replacement lines for the weak factory lines on the HMMWV. Good reputation.

I have not heard of Crown Performance brake lines but these are not that brand.

We had some brake lines that we sent to a manufacturer and they were able to produce them for us. So they will be labeled as a Phastek Performance brake line.

Well, I just got my SS brakes in, need these for Track use. Rubber lines tend to give way when hot. let me know when you guys get these in.
