2015 V6 Manual -- 1-2 Shift Sucks
So I have a 2015 V6 Manual LS.
Going into 1st gear, rev up to 3 - 3.5K When it's time to shift into 2nd gear I feel like I have to wait forever for the engine RPMs to drop enough to avoid lurching the car forward. Is 1st and 2nd gear that far spaced apart from each other on these cars? |

ITs because of the rubber shifter gate going to Reverse on the V6....its terrible
Swap your shifter out to say the MGW or Hurst complete replacement and its much much better.

Wow that's what the issue is . I agree the 1-2 shift sucks big time. Very hard to do smoothly so that the car isn't bucking ..

This has nothing to do with the physical shifter. I'm strictly talking about the time it takes to wait for the RPMs to drop enough after shifting out of 1st before you can go into 2nd without lurching the car forward. When I said "spaced apart" I meant the actual gear ratios, not the shifter movement. So if I understand correctly, there is no fix for this?!
