V6 vs 5.0
Okay guys so I have been wondering lately if it is possible to be able to take on a 5.0 mustang on a roll with my car. My Camaro is a manual with full bolt ons & a dyno tune on e85. I pulled about a bus lenght or so on a 2011 Camaro SS L99 on a roll & have been wondering how I would do vs a new 5.0 mustang. I'm thinking I would still need more power like a small nitrious shot but I do not believe anyone has done nitrious with e85 on the LFX yet so I'm not so sure about pulling the trigger on it

Well I'm not going to criticize camera work because I suck at it.....nothing like hearing the engines roar only to see the door panel in the vid ......where is the vid ?

I have beaten faster cars in the quarter mile but they had faster speeds. I just had the traction to get the jump. A 5.0 with only a few mods can launch pretty good out of the hole but probably will slow down a tad more than you. It'd be a good race at the track.

I had a feeling a v8 guy would comment haha. Like Sanjay said I have proof of me beating that ss on my YouTube channel along with many other v8s, also i said from a roll not 1/4 times

Did the L99 use the paddle shift to start in 2nd or was he just in regular drive or sport mode?

I see alot of vids you have......still doesn't make sense ..you should not be hanging with that l99 even with boltons. The Shaker 5.7 runs high 13s at the track all day. My buddy with the 5.0 destroyed him I. Your vid looks exactly like the result of me against a 5.0 stock. So your racing from rolls and at least showing you run. ...but you shouldn't be winning against the V8 camaro......bolton v6 is still slower then l99 stock so I don't know wtf is a going on. Whats your boltons and rwhp ? And get that thing to the track for some real racing.Also you won't be at a 5.0 from a roll......they are a strong performer from a roll.
